Stem is legally obligated to collect your tax information in order to pay you. If you have a red dot next to the Taxes tab in your account settings, we do not have your tax information on file and you are not eligible to receive payments from us.

You will not receive any payments from us until we get and verify your W-9.

We've made it easy to satisfy this requirement safely and securely. Here's how:

1. Log in
2. Navigate to Account Settings
3. Click on the new Taxes tab
4. If you live in the US, please fill out and submit a W-9. If you live outside of the US, please fill out and submit a W-8/BEN form.
5. Once your W-9 is verified with the IRS, we'll resume payments! 🥂

If your tax info stays the same, you will only have to do this once!
